On the way to Netherfield with Mr. Hurst
DARCY
I can't believe I'm doing this again.
HURST
Good gad. These Hertfordshire roads are bumpy.
DARCY
Well, if you're going to throw up again then stick your head out the window this time.
HURST
At least Bingley is making an effort to find a wife, Darcy. He's not just waiting for one to fall out of the clouds, which appears to be your fruitless approach.
DARCY
Why can't we ever count on you to keep him out of trouble? You're his brother-in-law after all.
HURST
Whoa, Darcy! Did you see that?
DARCY
What?
HURST
A bunch of girls walking by. Pretty girls. Five of them. Take a look.
DARCY
You're married, Hurst.
HURST
Should we offer one or two of them a ride?
DARCY
Yes, why not. I'm sure they'd like to meet your wife.
HURST
Why did I bother getting married when you already hen-peck me so well?
DARCY
Just keep your mind off the young ladies, Hurst, and help me concentrate on my misery.
HURST
Oh, settle down, Darcy. I'm just enjoying the view.
DARCY
Maybe if we can keep Bingley cooped up in this new house of his then he won't meet anyone and he'll stay out of trouble.
